People are our greatest asset. That is why we make sure we provide them with a fair and pleasant working environment. We also take care to share our knowledge and experiences outside the company itself, reaching out to the communities around us.
COMPANY WELFARE
Attaching great importance to our resources, there is a good corporate welfare system in place. For more than 30 years, our companies have flourished thanks to the well-being of people and an improvement in the quality of life of individual employees. We fund the San Zeno Foundation, which since 1999 has developed more than 1,500 projects to support communities. Last but not least, since 2001 there is the nursery service, which is present in some of the Group's locations and provides important support to all families.
Today, we have more than 44,000 employees worldwide, 90% of whom are women. At management level, women hold more than 50% of the positions.
Particular attention is paid to the empowerment and emancipation of our collaborators in countries where women suffer greater discrimination.
Who we work with for a more sustainable future
This is what prompted the Group to organise its first 'Women's Empowerment event' for the manufacturing world.
In 2019, ten female colleagues from Sri Lanka, chosen for their company history, their achievements, but above all their passion, were invited to Italy to live a unique experience.
During this trip, they had the opportunity to visit the country, our head quarter and attend #intimissimishow.
Intimissimi has always offered its contribution to the communities in which it operates.
Through the use of company resources, the Group offers its contribution to support social, sporting, cultural and charitable activities and even small public works, always guaranteeing the principle of transparency.
We have become promoters of some assistance and solidarity interventions by supporting projects in favour of the protection of people's health, such as open hospital initiatives, support for research in the fight against breast cancer, support for associations that assist young people in difficulty and the defence of women.
We know how water is a vital resource, and have for years implemented practices to limit its impact on production activities as much as possible. In addition, we have developed systems to distribute drinking water to employees free of charge, particularly in geographical areas where accessibility to water is affected by water shortages or infrastructural deficiencies.
