Our brand exercises direct control over its production activities. We are attentive to the social and environmental impact created and we are committed through projects and initiatives, such as self-production of energy, purchase of electricity from renewable sources and a general efficiency improvement of civil and industrial plants to reduce it more and more. As additional proof of our commitment on October 25, 2019 Calzedonia Group joined the Fashion Pact.
Our commitment is based on the efficiency of the plants, on the use of low environmental impact technologies and on the conscious and controlled use of water resources. We have adopted management systems that have allowed them to achieve voluntary energy and environmental certifications, such as ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 certifications.

For us, responsible production also means proper and rational water management within our production processes.
Wastewater from the Group's dyehouses is discharged in compliance with the parameters set by local laws and always keeping a reduction in the use of the resource at heart. Every day the main chemical and physical parameters are analyzed, and quarterly samples are sent to external certified laboratories for further analysis.
